Thanks for visiting 6-O Ranch's home on the web. We strive to breed and produce horses for the discerning horse-person and today's performance horse needs. We've hand picked some wonderful broodmares to cross with the best stallions to produce horses with strong conformation, athletic ability, great disposition, intelligence, and the extra qualities demanded of today's performance horse. We breed to only the best quality sires around. We strive to continually have the best in equine conformation.

Marlene was born and raised in the ranching country of Western South Dakota and has spent much of her life working around horses and cattle. She knows a "man's" ranch and horse work as good as any and some better. She has performed in numerous show and rodeo events over the years and has a keen and discerning eye for horse flesh as the ol' timers would say. Marlene's Grandfather Frank Bachand and his brothers started raising and selling horses back in the 1920's and 30's. Back in those days "performance" horse had an entirely different meaning than today. Performance meant big strong horses that could plow fields all day long and pull heavy wagons day after day. The Bachand's have always taken pride in their horses and Marlene continues on that tradtion of raising and selling high-class honest horses.
